This is an Agreement between Digby&Co (The Dog Walker and Pet Sitter) and the Client (Owner). Services, charges, days and times to be agreed by both parties and set out in writing. The utmost of care will be given in watching both your pet(s) and your home. Digby&Co will undertake the agreed-on services and the Owner undertakes to provide all necessary information to assist in this performance Digby&Co will provide the services agreed in a reliable, caring and trust worthy manner. In consideration of these services, the Client waives any and all claims against Digby&Co. Digby&Co undertakes to notify the Owner of any occurrence pertaining to the dog which may be relevant to the care and well-being of the dog.

SERVICES One on One walks, Adventure Day walks, Day Stay, Pet sitting, Homestays, Vet Visits/Pet Transport, Pet Feeding, Wedding Services, Pick up and drop off, Stud services.

TRAINING You agree to have your dog On and Off lead at your own risk. You agree for Digby&Co to use possitive and force free Training corrections and techniques when applicable.

PICK UP/DROP OFF Whilst there is always the intent to arrive at the allotted time, there is always an hour window of time allowed to pick up and drop off your dog i.e. a 10am pick up can mean any time between 9am and 11am.

REQUIREMENTS All pets under the care of Digby&Co are to be current on vaccinations. This includes Flea and worm treatments. All Dogs MUST have a current registration. The Owner will provide suitable harnesses, collars and leads as approved by the Walker as well as coats or muzzles if required. As a courtesy to The Pet Sitter and to ensure The Pet Sitter is able to professionally provide services to your pet(s) and home without inconvenience, the service address (e.g. your home) should be kept in clean and orderly condition during the service dates. The client must provide all items necessary for pets to be adequately cared for in the client's absence.

SOCIAL MEDIA The client gives consent for their dog’s image to be used in photo or video format on Digby&Co social media pages or promotional material.

DUTIES/SERVICES The Walker shall not be obliged to perform any other duties except those specified and agreed upon, per this agreement.

KEYS Digby&Co warrants to keep safe and confidential all keys, remote control entry devices, access codes and personal information of the Owner and to return same to the Owner at the end of the contract period or immediately upon demand.

PAYMENT The client is responsible for settling the invoice by the date outlined. All payments can be acknowledged and receipted if required. Late payments will incur an interest charge of 8% and a £35 admin fee on top of owed payments. All fees associated with recovering outstanding amounts will be passed on to the Client.

CANCELLATIONS Cancellation by the Owner of scheduled walks with less than 24hrs notice may be charged at the full rate or rescheduled at the discretion of the Walker. This includes missed walks due to dog not being available on pick up. Where the Walker as sole proprietor needs to cancel a scheduled walk due to unforeseen circumstances, may change days or extra walks will be arranged. Pet Sitting and Homestay charges 50% of the scheduled visits if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance. Should the client return early during a booking, full fees are payable. The Pet Sitter reserves the right to terminate service at any time before or during pet sits, if The Pet Sitter in its sole discretion, determines that Client’s pet poses a danger to the health or safety of a person or another animal. If concerns prohibit Pet Sitter from caring for pet(s), Client authorizes pet(s) to be placed in a boarding kennel, with all charges from there on to be charged to Client.

TERMINATION If either party wish to terminate scheduled ongoing services, parties need to give 14 (fourteen) days written notice of termination. Digby&Co reserves the right to terminate the service at any time, if the walker in its sole discretion, determines that Client’s pet poses a danger to the health or safety of the walker, any animals or any person. Any wrongful or misleading information in the Owner's or Pet Information sheets may constitute a breach of terms of this Dog Walking Agreement and can be grounds for instant termination thereof. Termination under the circumstances described above shall not entitle the Owner to any refunds nor relief of any outstanding payments due.

DAMAGES Digby&Co accepts no liability for any breach of security or loss of or damage to the Owner's property if any other person has access to the property during the term of this agreement. Digby&Co shall not be liable for any mishap of whatsoever nature which may befall a dog or caused by a dog who has unsupervised access to the outdoors. It is understood that anyone with access to the home will be notified of Digby&Co presence and vice versa. Digby&Co reserves the right not refuse entry to any visitors nor pre-authorized and informed about, by the Owner. Digby&Co will not be held responsible for any damages incurred to your home or pet(s) by visitors pre – authorized visitors. The Client agrees to notify Digby&Co of any concerns within 24 hours of client’s return home. Digby&Co cannot be held responsible for any mishaps, claims, and/or expenses attributed to a destructive or unpredictable behavior of the Client’s pet(s) that cause damage to the Client’s home/property and/or a neighbor’s home/property. (i.e., biting, furniture damage, accidental death, etc Nor can Digby&Co be held liable for injury, disappearance, death, or fines of pet(s) with access to the outdoors.

EMERGIENCIES If the Client, or the other contact person cannot be reached, the Client agrees to accept any decision Digby&Co makes in regards to the pet’s care or Clients property. The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Digby&Co. The Client agrees to reimburse Digby&Co for any additional fees for tending to emergency or veterinary care as well as any expenses incurred for same.

STUD SERVICES At the point of mating it is agreed that a choice of pup will be picked at birth or a stud fee will apply. In situations where a pup is not a feasible choice such as gender, colour, undocked etc an automatic stud fee will apply. All Stud dogs are fully health tested, eye tested and temperament tested ensuring high quality pups as offspring. Non health tested bitches incur a stud fee of £450, Fully health tested bitches incur a stud of £350.
